Florida - South Beach Night Life

Everyone knows the best place to party in Florida is South Beach (a.k.a SoBe). South Beach is the section of Miami Beach, Florida that encompasses the southernmost 23 blocks of an island separating the Atlantic Ocean and Biscayne Bay.



Known for its nightlife South Beach has a very active night club and bar scene. Not really what you would call family oriented. It is host to more the 150 clubs and other venues, most of which don't close until 5am. South Beach is also one of the world's hottest locations for fashion shoots. Just watch a rap video once and a while and you will see what I mean. According to Wiki.com 1500 models live in the area and many more arrive during the prime fashion shooting season, so it is easy to say that it is the hub for some very beautiful people.

Best time to go? That is a very good question. It really depends on what you are wanting. Springbreakers love South Beach. Do you want to have a great time without all the young drunks around? Well Spring Breakers are around from the end of February until April, most schools are out one of the weeks in March. I mention this because prices go up during spring break from airline tickets to hotel stays.

There are some great hotels that are newly renovated and close to everything you just have to look for them. Keep in mind when looking for a hotel room to make sure they have secure parking. Some hotels have parking but a few blocks away from the hotel in a unattended parking lot. If you’re like me you don't really like that situation.

Remember you only live once, so live it up but be careful and make sure you party with friends, never party alone, make sure someone has your back.
